In case of selenium deficiency

A selenium deficiency can develop in case of digestive disorders or insufficient supply via nutrition (e.g. vegetarians, vegans). Since the body cannot build selenium, it has to be supplied daily.
The selenium (sodium selenite), used in Cefasel®, is well absorbable and directly available in the body for the incorporation into the selenium-dependent enzymes.
